In 2018, only 2 major online music retailers (Sweetwater Sound and Musician's Friend) had built a proprietary delivery system that provided immediate fulfillment of e-commerce recording software purchases. In that year, Hal Leonard Corporation, the world's largest music publisher and distributor, reached out to InboundAV to help design a solution that could be offered to retailers worldwide.

ProAudio.Link exists as a middleware that sits between an e-commerce store and the distributors who are capable of fulfilling software purchases by API. The concept was simple, ProAudio.Link would direct a software purchase to the appropriate distributor(s). The distributor(s) would deliver the license and download information to Pro Audio Link, and the system would send an email to the customer using the retailer's email domain.
Rather than creating multiple custom integrations for different software distributors, ProAudio.Link is a Plug and Play solution for music retailers of all sizes. It has been in use for over 4 years now and was recently integrated with Hal Leonard's new delivery protocol, the Virtual Vault.
